About Coach Hawes

Coach Jeff Hawes has been the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Potomac Falls High School since 1997. The previous 10 years he was the Junior Varsity Basketball Coach at Broad Run High School. While at Potomac Falls, Coach Hawes’ teams have captured 17 District Titles, 6 Region Titles and were the Back to Back 2010 and 2011 Virginia AA State Champions. Most importantly Coach Hawes’ teams are known for their intense and unselfish play as well as displaying good character on and off the court.

Coach Hawes has attended and worked basketball camps for 35 years. His goal is to take his knowledge and experience from the numerous camps he has been a part of and make Jeff Hawes Old School Basketball Camp a one of a kind experience for every camper. The camp will give attention to every detail and aspect of the game of basketball. Our goal is to place every camper in an environment that is fun, competitive, and productive. We are confident that if you attend this camp and give your best effort possible, that you will return home a better basketball player in all areas of the game.

Why Old School Basketball Camp?

INSTRUCTIONAL BASED: We put an emphasis on teaching and focus on the fundamentals of basketball. We accomplish this with competitive activities which highlight the skills being taught.

ACCOMPLISHED STAFF: Our top notch staff is a hand picked group of Head Coaches and High School Coaches, as well as former and current college players. Their knowledge of the game, teaching methods and demeanor are second to none!

MODERN FACILITIES: Mount St. Mary's University provides a convenient location with comfortable dorm rooms, great indoor, air conditioned gym space and good food!
